What is Technical Reading, Writing, and Presentation for Cyberspace Security?

Technical Reading, Writing, and Presentation for Cyberspace Security is a course at INSC, Tsinghua University and the instructors are Han Qiu and Yuanjie Li.

The main purpose of this course is to help the master and PhD students efficiently and effectively read, write, and present scientific or technical articles specialized in network sciences. By giving both the methodology and practical examples, we try to achieve three goals as follows.

• This course can help students to improve their reference searching, reading, and understanding.
• Taking this course can let students understand what a scientific paper should be like and how to write one with logic.
• Also, students will know how to present a research work for network science. In summary, on the one hand, the methodology of this course will be taught based on the cutting-edge network science research work and specialized for network science technical reading, writing, and presentation.

On the other hand, the practical examples in this course include the first-hand experiences of the network science researchers that will be valuable for students to rapidly learn the skills for reading, writing, and presenting technical articles for network sciences.
